After last years success we have decided on a venue for this year's Christmas party.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The venue will be Redworth Hall in County Durham on the 17th December 2011.

It is a Freddie Mercury Tribute night and disco + meal.

The price is £34.90 per person and a special price of £90 per night for a double room including breakfast.

You can also view the information on the Border Patrol Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150283168160369&set=a.10150283158915369.331723.659030368&type=1#!/event.php?eid=140037692746501

Appologies for shoving Christmas in your face mid August, but from experience of last years organising, if you don't get in there early everything is booked.

:woohoo:

David. I was going to put it in the events but I can't seem to change the date from todays date. I can change the time, but not the date. Any ideas?

Are you clicking on the little calender icon to input the date? I don't think you can alter the date in the window directly.

It's working OK for me doing that!

I click on the little calender icon and nothing happens. Click on the date and the cursor appears but can't change it.

You can have a go if you want to. Don't think it likes me. ;)

Something wrong there then, but Simon will have to fix it. I'll put the do into events, in the meanwhile.

We have just had Redworth Hall call us today.

Nicola rang about an hour ago to ask why we hadn't filled the places allocated to us.

If we don't use the places allocated to us within the next week they need to re allocate them to other parties.

Only 8 people booked so far.

So, just to stress, if you want to go, book now.

The problem is people have to book it themselves, rather than wait for Anne to organise it all and bung her a few quid. :nonod:
