Fancy a run on Sunday???
Well, the weather's giving a good forecast for the weekend ...so...
anyone fancy a run round the Trough of Bowland on Sunday??? :yesnod:
Basic idea is a re-run of the Border Patrol run we did 18 months ago... link here
The date: Sunday 15th January ~ The Wriggly Run (in honour of Ally's F Wriggly who is undergoing major surgery  )
Meet at : Edisford car park, Edisford Road, CLITHEROE (BB7 3LA) 10am for a 10.30 departure
The route (subject to change, depending on time and mood!) :
Leaving Edisford we head for Hurst Green and Stonyhurst before entering the Trough of Bowland passing through Whitewell and Dunsop Bridge (the geographical centre of the UK). Then through Slaidburn and over the moors to Bentham with lunch in Clapham. The roads are narrow, but the views are vast and there are some fantastic surprises along the way.
We’ll stop for lunch in Clapham - a very pretty village with walking shops, tea rooms and a pub or two.
After lunch, we’ll head back via some more wonderfully twisty roads. These will take us through Gisburn Forest, along the length of Stocks Reservoir and over Waddington Fell before entering Waddington (Lancashire’s Best Kept Village) and back to Clitheroe!
:D :woohoo:

After every Sunday game for the last four weeks has been cancelled, Saul is playing this Sunday in an important cup match.
The route looks fantastic and we are both gutted we won't be with you.
Have a great time (not that it could possibly be anything less), we will be with you in spirit.
