Got myself a 2003 Trophy Blue MGTF 1.8 - overall seems in pretty good condition and is completely standard which is what I wanted. Will need a bit of TLC but hoping not to have to do too much as will be my daily driver. My other car is a 1959 Austin A35 which I have just finished.
I have a couple of questions but will post these under more relevant topics

Nice cars! I used to have a Black Austin A35 in the 70s - UUF624. I sold it to my friend's wife and she put the engine, gearbox, brakes and running gear from a 1275 MG Midget MkIII into it! I wonder if it's still out there?

Ah but it's coming up as a a40 and not a a35...someone has either done a Mexican with the number plates or it wasn't a a35 in the first place.picture of a a40 below.
Must be a few types has this one is a a40 Devon.

Unfortunately, I don't think I have a picture. No camera phones in 1973! But UUF624 was definitely an A35 when I had it. Did the A40 Farina even exist in 1958?
