Reading that I think it's just the turbo and exhaust manifold, not the engine.

Back with front wheel drive and 181HP at the wheels :)

Speaking as someone who has a supercharged K, and prefer superchargers to turbos, the 1.8T is going to be the easiest way of achieving forced induction in an F/TF I feel. I don't think a lot more than a custom exhaust manifold will be required (there was quite a big discussion on this topic on .org) - something we've done to fit a 1.8T into a Metro GTi. The biggest issue I feel will be getting rid of the heat from the turbo, which is less of a concern with a supercharger. Either way the 1.8T engine is a good base for a forced induction application, be it super- or turbo-charged - you get the lower compression ratio bottom end and the non-return fuel rail/breather etc for the inlet.

Go for a roots-type blower, not a rotrex, if you are going to supercharge it. Bit more work, but a better result I would think.

Its only the Turbo and Downpipe bud, bloody expensive too, plus they have a high failure rate, i'd just get my old one reconditioned or upgrade rather than buy a naff second hand unit.
