Don't forget there are a couple on here for sale, including a fab solar red 1.8 VVC which has had loads done to it, and is a very good price :broon:

I got an e-mail saying he is trying to buy it and could I check the number amd tell Adam its got a buyer . there was . no answer, maybe Whiz who is on .org can PM Adam . I think the buyer wants one that will reward some effort.

Sorry to tell you the wife factor kicked in. I think this coupled with borrowing a trailer (he has an old Frontera in the fleet with a tow bar) and 20 MPG to Teeside and back this has gone off the boil. I've sent him this pic of a properly furnished workshop.

The one on the right is a loaner at MGRS, classy
The silver one on the left is getting a new head and rear screen before resale. Bit more than Adam's but a lovley car, subframes are perfect. I also sent him the link to an all girl crew having fun at Silverstone to offset the wifes objections.

I thought you all might appreciate the latest. I just sold a 2 owner XR2 on flea bay and the buyer is coming down from Scotland for it with a trailer. so I rang Geoff to see if he was still up for the MGF as it could have worked for everyone. Geoff said yes, but Adam never got back to him. So I rang Adam and he still has the car but fixed it and got the MoT hinself so he can sell it for more, a lot more. So thats killed that one as for the price Adam now wants Geoff may as well buy locally.
So long story as short as. Any more deals like that forum please let me know, Geoff is still keen and very handy with the spanners.
And Jan, if that workshop looks familiar then you were in High Wycombe when you saw it. They have total of 3 hoists, not that I'm jealous. :sick:
