MGF 1.8l K-series Head - Fully ported and polished
MGF 1.8l K-series Head - Fully ported and polished was created by Ozzy
Posted 12 years 2 months ago #67467i have a spare K-Series head available, its been fully hardness tested (117 Brinell) and tested to ensure it is not warped.
the porting on this head alone is over 40hrs work, has had valve seats freshly cut, new valves and valve stem seals.
nearly a brand new head.
just needs cams, and is a straight swap.
this head should flow to about 150-160bhp with the right cams.
looking for £650 ono (which is the cost of the porting labour alone!)
but please let me know if you want to make an offer as i need to sell it ASAP to pay for my other engine rebuild!
Many thanks
Oz.

stock valves, but they havent been installed yet, so i could stop the install and reduce the price if you want to put in bigger ones.
should flow to about 150-160bhp on stock valves!!

yeah had 2 heads prepped, kept the better of the 2 - 120 brinell hardness, and selling the lesser (117), but both are excellent, as they only need to be over 90 brinell to be classed as "good" to use.

Posted 12 years 2 months ago #67593will post more pics later when its back next week as it is away with my other head, both having the valve seats cut to ensure they are both as good as they can possibly be. same valve seat cutter that did braun GP's engine's in 2009!!! lol
