Cams £300
Pulleys £140

Both £400

For non VVC engines (unless you convert your VVC to non VVC)

In the words of Clarkson.... POWER

So would go nicely on my TF135 then? Except I don't have spare cash at the moment until the blue TF has gone.

Read the engine options how to. according to that, the 270 cams aren't much better.
If you want more power i would suggest starting with a lightweight flywheel

You'll need to excuse my ignorance but how does a lightweight flywheel give increase BHP, where with cams you would be looking at an increase of approx 8bhp.

It doesn't give more hp but does make a big difference to how it is used giving an "effective" power increase.

It's all to how much weight the engine has to 'turn over'

The less weight attached to it... The easier it will spin up
