Hi, ive recently replaced my rear tyres and I kept this one as it was too good to give the tyre fitter people.
Its a budget brand I think and it was put on the rear of my TF by the last owner to get it through its MOT in early March.
The brand is EVENT and to be fair the cornering or handling didnt ever give me the impression it was going to 'let go' while this tyre was on even in heavy rain.

So, I say almost free because I'd be happy to swap it for a nice bottle of Red Wine.. :woohoo:

Tread depth is approx 6-7mm and the walls and insides of the tyre are in great condition.
The tyre can be collected in Bolton by whoever wants it, just let me know.

The size is: 215/40x16

If you can hold on to it until, or you've still got it when, we get back from France,(27th) I'll take it off your hands. I've got a matching almost new tyre in the shed.

If somebody else needs it in the mean time then let them have it.

edit:- There's a distinct possibility that we'll have a bottle of wine in the car,

Sounds like we've struck a deal David. No problem hanging onto it, maybe even meet at Maggie's for a brew - if she doesn't mind of course :)

We are back on the ferry 26th afternoon, so we'll stay overnight somewhere and travel up on Saturday 27th.
It would be good to meet at Maggy's if she's up for it!

David, do you still possess a bottle of red? The tyre is taking up room in my shed.....

Hi David, I can't find the thread - but is it the Wales BP run? I think I'm in work across the weekend but if you can remind me of dates I can check. I can still drop it at Maggie's if it easier mate? Let me know, it's got ur name on it - just need to get it to you :)

No, there's a run through the lakes on 8/9th June. If not, I'm sure Maggy will keep it for me.
