Going back to big coupés, think it'll be a V6 Cougar instead, the car will only be for fun and will only cover 1500 - 2000 miles a year so the terrible thirst won't be an issue...

Posted 11 years 6 months ago #118711After a bit of a windfall I bought a nearly new (3k) ex Ford demo in 2000. Black X Pack 2.5. One of, if not the best cars I ever owned. All I replaced in 60k was tyres, pads and front discs. Absolutely reliable and went like $hit off a stick.
Good 'uns are out there for beer money.
The fuel economy was actually better than my current 2.5 Jag!
