I can't believe that car has been sold for £750 I think it is a wind up :clap:

If it's any consolation, I paid WELL over the odds for Donkey... and for once fate has smiled on me.... OK so I've not taken a proper look as it was dark when I arrived, but it really does look like a good car... I'll check her over in the morning but fingers crossed. By the sounds of things, if it hadn't sold by Friday, it'd have ended up a trade in and sent to Auction ... from what I can tell so far, it's way too good to be treated like that... so from my point of view, it's worth being overdrawn for a few months :woo2: and with a little tinkering, will be perfect for this summer.

I am only bitter as I never get a bargain :rant:

How many times do you see cars for sale at top price that don't sell and then get traded in for peanuts to dealers with no passion for the brand.

I've been thinking... Now about " Donkey"....

Given I paid 1200 for her, (and suspect if I'd seen Carolyn's back in December I'd have been happy to pay that for hers...) - Whilst she's up for sale in fleabay/parked on a roundabout with signs in and will soon be on pre-loved/gumtree/free places... IF anyone here wants her as is before I take out the carpets (to replace the holey one in Carolyns) and then think about nicking the seats too... they can have her (without the hard-top as I'm now thinking about spraying that silver) for the Same £750 - ergo, ignoring my overpayment for her in the first place, my net position remains the same but I've got a silver instead of blue one...

IF that makes sense?
