Hi all I have some parts left from the mg tf sunstorm I stripped. Looking for these to go asap so I can take the frames and scrap the car. Collection preferred but can post if needed.

Often wondered at the logic of not being able to send an airbag through the post.

It's just an inanimate object that needs a number of other parts and parameters to set it off.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems silly.

Besides it being an explosive device airbags contain Sodium Azide NaN3 a very nasty substance and potentially lethal.

It's not just the explosive potential, Sodium Azide is as poisonous as Cyanide, normally it's hermetically sealed container within the airbag/pretensioner but if the container became damaged, it's hygroscopic as it absorbs water vapour it then becomes Hydrozoic Acid HN3 an even nastier substance.

Read up on those then you'll understand why they are not normally allowed to be posted.
