The more I look at it the more I like it too. You could always make one.

Duct the radiator and you get extra cooling and front end downforce into the bargain on an F.

Like. Does someone manufacture these or do a kit? Something I'd contemplate doing maybe over the winter

A guy called Car.mad.stylings in Wales does some Lotus style vents on E bay which I thought looked promising.
I gave him some experimental side vents which I had been working on, and he has produced them in fibreglass for the MG TF, they are also listed on e-bay. As soon as I have fitted and painted them, I'll report back.

Yes, I saw that, it looks fairly straightforward, and would certainly be a more efficient way of venting the rad, might even improve front aerodynamics.
It is very tempting to go down this route, the only thing holding me back is my paint colour, 3 coat Kinetic Mirage is going to be almost impossible to match up, I doubt I could have large back facing louvres stamped out of the bonnet without it looking a mess, and even boot type vents would possible be difficult to do on the bonnet sucessfully.
I've got some glued on louvre panels on my V8 MGB, a bit like the E type ones, but I'm not over happy with them, and I'm loth to mess up the TF's bonnet.
