Who did it last time? If it went due to liner movement then even if the gasket was changed it was doomed to fail again! Worth getting it checked.
My TF Felix has HGF when I got him (hence he cost me nothing!) and Russell from MGRoverSolutions ca me out and realised the liner was wonky on cylinder 1! So he managed to fit a new liner and reseal it from the top without having to remove the piston (damn he's a clever chappie!) - saved me money and solved the issue. Goodness knows how much it would have cost if I had to have the bottom end off and the piston dropped too....
It had previously been done and they had missed that issue AND a trace crack on the head face too!
It's worth giving him a buzz/email/facebook message and asking.

You may be surprised. Russell has saved many an F and TF from certain death at the hands of the crusher!
It's worth a buzz as it may save you a heap in the long run. Once a HG is done properly it is far less likely to go than if it's done wrongly!

DIY for the kit £6.49 + £1 P&P, so time to hone your soldering skills, fitting instructions on the site (Respax.com)
Or let them solder in in your new resistors on your old plate £11.00 + £2.50 P&P
Link below:
http://www.rezpax.com/userimages/procart4.htm
Or you can buy the 3 individual resistors (ceramic) from somewhere like RS Components.
The 3 resistance values are around: Low 1.5Ω to 1.36Ω Med 0.68Ω to 0.66Ω High 0.22Ω to 0.20Ω
Brian.

Another reccomendation for Rezpax here - really easy job to resolder once you get the old ones out.
I found that upside down in the foot well with feet over the headrest was the best position to manage it.
