Steering column - non power steering version

Hi,

I'm trying to sort a recent project - its a very early mgf 1.8i without power steering

Some nice person damaged the steering lock which has in turn damaged the column - has anyone got one lying around that they no longer want? preferably cheapish!

(I'm gutted as I threw 1 of these away when we moved in August!)

Try Darryl at MGF-REBORN as he does upgrades to EPAS from non EPAS :yesnod:

Maybe a dumb question...

But why a non EPAS one?

Oh on a side note I run an EPAS one on the buggy.. Which isn't connected to the ECU or wired up Nd it's fine

I don't want to pay lots of money for someone else to do it, I've got a later car with EPAS on it that I'm breakking so could do the swap

My car is a very very early mgf which didn't have epas when new, so I'd prefer to keep it that way.

Theres one on ebay - but £50 for a 2nd hand basic column seems too steep for me! especially when I sell epas columns with ecu at £30
