Red hood
I'd like to buy it.
My only options so far have been
1. Spend £500 plus for a new one or
2. Spend around £200 on a2 nd hand e bay one that looks like it'll never clean up.
Any help and I'll be happy.

update:
http://www.hothoods.co.uk/mgf_fitted.htm £480 fitted for a red one
"I am replacing the soft top on my MGF 75th - and have had a really good quote (£390.00 fitted) for a 1-piece hood in red from the Car Hood Warehouse in Chessington." that was in 2009 so no doubt the price has changed but here is there page: http://www.carhood.com/mg/
update 2:
http://www.partshark.co.uk/used-car-parts-breaking-vehicles/mg/tf/breakers-page-2/#breakers there is an mgtf being broken here with a red roof

I use Autoglym hood cleaner on Meg's red hood - scrub it in with the sponge they supply, then use a nail brush on any green bits. Then I use my carpet cleaner (the hand tool) to suck the dirty soapy water off the hood. do it a couple of times and it comes up like new.
Then a coat of proofer and you're good to go.
