Tools you will need:

1 * 13mm socket and ratchet handle
1 * 10mm spanner or socket

Some patience and something to cover the boot.

Before you start I'd recommend removing the boot or this job will be heavy and could end up in some body work face palm sadness.

If you look at the inside of your boot you will find 2 * 10mm nuts. I took these off with my 10mm ratchet spanner.

Then there is a 13mm nut on the other side of the hinge. Use your ratchet skills on this and the boot hinge wiggles off hold it underneath or it will bang into the engine bay.

Also you will need to remove the cables from the tie wraps to swap the hinges over these can be done with a screwdriver against the plastic tab and they unwind themselves.

Careful they are heavier than you think.

I did both in less than 10mins.

Easy peasy job.

You will feel great! Whoop Whoop

I used a google chrome extension called pic monkey. Really easy to use for doing simple photo edits and free.

I am guessing the 10mm ratchet spanner is a luxury item and the job could be done with an ordinary ratchet with 10mm socket on it,
well, it looks so from here, [ another flippin xmas present ]?

I haven’t lost my marbles they are in a bag somewhere

Did it on myself whiz took about 30 mins but I was only taking off. The putting on and adjusting could be a bit errrm difficult with one person. I'd get someone else for moral laughing support just incase. Just make sure you have a sheet for the boot to rest on or you could end up finding that your paint has a bad scratch on it.
