What a disappointment

Got up all excited this morning. Delivery man at the door.

I'm expecting a new ss cat back exhaust for the Nissan.

Ooh accept parcel and put the kettle on in preparation for basking in the shiny glory with a cup of coffee in my hand.

Then, waking up properly, I think that that's not a very big box for an exhaust system. :nonod:

I open it with a sinking feeling, and...

:pinch:

And the Nissan is sitting on axle stands with the old exhaust already off

ps That's Arthur's nose in the bottom left.

David, Didn't you know that they are now using nanotube technology to make exhaust systems really small these days. :-)

I didn't know that you had a porch. Boxster or 911?

Ray you must be a postie like Dave, my postie, he gets Bacon butties sometimes and a bottle of whisky for Christmas.

He always finds a way to get a parcel to me when I'm out so I never get one of those cards telling me I have to go to the post office to pick it up. He always has a smile and a wave for everyone on his round. I reckon for the service and customer relations job he does for the post office he must be worth his weight in gold to them.

To all the good posties, who in all weathers get our mail to us I say - Thank you lads and lasses it is very much appreciated :broon:

BTW David I hope the new exhaust is going to give you a little more ground clearance, last time I saw it it looked like you had about 10mm clearance..... just

He is lucky to get tea seeing as he comes at some ungodly time like midday

I think rural postmen tend to have a better relationship with their customers as they have the same round day after day ..
At our old place we had a different one every week :yesnod:

For Christmas he got £20, and that was because he dares to run the gambit of the mutts and puts my parcels into the front hall for me rather than the porch ;)
