Well I managed to find my replacement for the F that I was breaking.
The plan was to buy another F in much better condition however I fell in love with this little one on eBay.
It's a 1974 round wheel arch in English white all seems very original and unrestored but in lovely condition throughout only a little attention needed on the rear seams, but no major damage just a small about of bubbling.

The car was in Anglesey island so a mammoth effort was put in to get her back.
I took the train from Essex to Birmingham Monday night then stayed in a hotel to get the 5:30 train to holly head yesterday morning.
After a delay as the wiper switch broke I set off at 11:45 and got home at 6:30pm.
Had a good look round it this morning and it was worth it I love the way it looks and the old fashioned way of driving is appealing to me, the planning in advance everytime you want to change gear or brake makes for an interesting drive!!!

Looks like the start of a long term relationship this time :yesnod:

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for her in the end?

Might not be too long term actually due to the silly amounts of cars I have at home I am worried about not having enough indoor storage to keep her too long, I also have a couple of very interested parties in the car already, I have told them that nothing will be decided until I have driven it for a few weeks.
Also gives me time to get it up to my standards which will involve a very small amount of bodywork and some electrical bits.
As for price It will owe me around £3000

Silly at the last count was
Ferrari 308
Lotus Elise
MG Midget :-)
Mazda MX-5
New Focus
Volvo S60

Think that's it !! To be fair I have agreed a sale on the MX-5 (it's off to Finland once the snow clears abit) and the Volvo is just awaiting some parts then it will be on E-bay
So only leaves Four which isn't too silly I guess.
However I am being very tempted at the moment by MGB v8's not too sure why but I can see myself owning one quiet soon.
I tend to only keep cars a little while I think there are too many to try, only exceptions are the 308 and Elise which hopefully I will never need to part with.
