Fresh from our cheapo Amsterdam trip, we are off to Bruges next week. Overnight sailing, with cabin for 2 nights, full day in Bruges with free coach from port to city, return overnight sailing. Price 120 quid all in for both of us. Includes brekky in that price for the 2 mornings. Bargain I reckon! As smokers and fags at half UK price, 4 cartons pays for the trip! Plus cheapo booze.
Well impressed with our Amsterdam jolly: check out P & O mini cruise 2 for 1 deals. We go from Hull, also trips from Dover.
Some good car deals as well, but taking the car means no beer consumption on board!
Parking is 12 quid for 2 days.
Looking ahead I am thinking Yorks meet and cruise, park up at the docks, a weekend of continental socialising, off the boat Sunday morning, in the MG's for a cruise to a nice lunch and then home. Will put this together if anyone interested, maybe next Spring?

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

It must be a Leicestershire thing John we go about four time's a year on them but we take the car as it's only £4 and you cannot beat the food in the four seasons restaurant we came back three weeks ago and back again just before christmas like you say need the cheap fag's and booze

Try the brasserie: works out cheaper than the 4 Seasons if you have 2 courses!

Lovely part of the world, but no cheap booze and fags!!
Tempted to take the MG on the ferry, but the thought of no/minimal beers due to driving is a worry!
