The number of businesses that were relying only on simple RAID arrays to keep the data integrity was frightening.
Backup is one of those things that people either don't appreciate, or don't do properly (if at all in many cases), yet for most of us these days is the difference between keeping and losing a huge number of memories (pictures, emails, music, etc, etc).
I know its boring, but backup of your data is important, don't become someone who realizes this after losing everything when a hard drive fails!
