and of course jan you have the best colour for a mgf green.lol.
my favorite colour is the white or the blue.green and second choice.i loved my red mgf but i never got time to polish her.and as you know red cars need regular polishing .

well, i thought i would revisit this thread, as my new aerial base arrived today. it came courtesy of sussex classic car parts. i must say, it was a great service from them, and i would happily use them again :broon:

anyway, fitted the new base, and screwed the aerial that i posted about earlier into it.

and voila! i have a great radio reception! the old base must have been goosed from me drilling it out earlier.

so, the aerial is fine so far
