I haver to agree. The only problem I had with the first one was the front wheel falling off while driving (!) which was due to a failed bearing. Other than that I loved it. Plus the Born Warner gearbox sounded like an aircraft taking off when you floored it - wonderful! Plus of course it was Hydrolastic like the F!

'88 Honda CRX 16V - Awesome but rusty.
'96 Fiat Coupe 20V - Owned for 3 months. Spent half of that time having warranty work done
'91 Honda CRX SiR - Awesome, had a lot of fun in this, would have another one
'98 Ford Focus 1.8 - Mundane stop gap car, the Mrs ended up having it
'93 Volvo 850 2.5 - Another Stop gap. £220. 225k miles. Built like the proverbial out house. Had a car phone!
'90 BMW 325i Cabriolet - Awesome, toured France in this and generally enjoyed it
'97 Subaru Impreza 2.0 - Ok. That is all.
'90 Mercedes 190e 2.6 - Only had it for a short while but good for invading Poland
'88 BMW 518i - Awesome. Mint condition and shouldn't have sold it
'87 Porsche 944 2.5 - Generally crap. And rusty. And expensive

'06 BMW 325i M-Sport Touring (Current) - Sensible but fun

This was one of my favourites though
2002 3.0 X Type. Full arden Exhaust, lowered.
Tints all round - looked fantastic - just a pity it threw up more fault codes than the diagnostics machine could print

Had this for about 18 months too, just never warmed to it
