Our area goes from 50 to 277m.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Kinell. Do you live up a mountain? Scafell Pike peak is the highest point at 977m in the UK.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Around here is one of the higher areas in my state but not the highest. My son lives 20mins away and is 1200 m, he gets a bit of snow in winter. Thought Uk would be higher! :frosty:

According to the Ordnance Survey *Get a Map" service where I live in South Birmingham is between the 135 and 140 metre contour lines.
Apparently this means we are between 442ft 10 61⁄64in and 459ft 3 13⁄16in according to metric conversions.org http://www.metric-conversions.org/length/meters-to-feet.htm

I live near the Rocky Mountains where the highest elevation is around 13,000ft. and the highest town at 4700ft.
The Coast Mountains are within view of my place and also rise to about 13000ft, but we live on
the Fraser River Delta at sea level or possibly a metre or two below thanks to very sturdy dikes!

The air must be a little thin too. Where abouts do you live, obviously not the UK.

Mindy I live in Australia, Central Tablelands NSW. Don't really think of this area as being that high , I guess there is plenty of places in Europe for example that are a lot higher. The climate here is good with snow only several times a year and cool summers (compared to a lot of Aust) Can be a bit dry sometimes. Dave
