Any of you MG 'ers also a motorbike rider / race fan?

New season starts soon...anyone interested in a bike based thread? :beer:

47y/o with 3 teenage daughters (yikes!!!) engineer,car/bike fanatic,alarm /eobd programmer/fixer, ex bike racer and builder of the trickest 1off motorbikes known to man!! (oh...and general good guy!)

I just ride them. Don't really follow any sport to be honest.

Pity that Ducati couldnt, make it work with Rossi there but he's hopefully got them back on the right track. Is always going to be hard to compete using a V twin engine though.

I don't ride, but live in Isle of Man and LOVE the TT. Anyone ever come over for TT or Manx GP?

The Desmosedici GP bikes a 4 cylinder Vee BTW! :P

love the TT..last there in 2008 for practice/raceweek...fantastic place for a biking holiday!

I was there in 1990 I think where they had Tony Pond doing a demo lap in his Metro 6R4 rallycross car...that was something to see/hear him 4 wheel drifting it round Gingerhall!!

They've done the Rally car thing recently and he blew Pond's time away!

Mark Higgins did av 113mph in a Scooby. Videos on Youtube etc.

I had a zz600 loved it but then got knocked off and Mrs got pregnant so now just a MG wally

My bike...Rebuilt& road registered ex-2003 World Endurance Championship winning Phaseone/QBCarbon GSXR1000





Owned it since early 2008 dont use it much now..130 miles in 2011 and a measly 90 miles last year :omg:


Prefer building/restoring bikes to riding them nowerdays!!

I returned to biking at 48 years young and have a 600 Fazer and a 1969 T90 baby Bonneville I rebuilt complete with oil leak.

Its like the MG if I go near them it rains.

Im not into racing although I would love to go to the IOM TT....... As long as it doesnt rain.
