Cars you just don't see anymore
I saw a Talbot Matra Rancho on the way home tonight. Looked like a cross between a small range rover and the Pope mobile. I'd forgotten they even existed.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I was given my mums old 1500 twin carb SE when I passed my test, got an MG Metro after that, don't see them either.
After my mum died, my dad kept her pale green MG Metro as he didn't want to let it go, some b'stard stole it off his driveway when he was at work. Scum!

It was a fab little car though, went like a rocket...or it did when mum drove it anyway (mmmm wonder where I get it from!) just a shame my Dad reversed his fully loaded ERF over it! :slapme:

Looks tidy. :broon:
I had a rancho when we lived in Germany. Fibre glass body, plenty of space inside but fairly basic. The kids loved the seats facing towards the back window, so they could wave at everyone.
Not particularly safe when you think about it. The build quality was terrible. :nonod:
One old car I did like was my misubishi galant sapporo (1987).
