Probably. :coat:

Best check the coolant for signs of gunk and under the oil filler cap too. Good luck. :broon:

May well be condensation down the dip tube.
Check the cam cover oil filler cap for Hellmans as well as the remote filler. Reachable reasonably easily.

For peace of mind, do an oil and filter change and monitor oil and coolant levels.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Not that unusual really. Short journeys and cold mornings cause condensation which should evaporate once the oil is up to temp.

2 miles is barely enough to warm the oil. Take the car for a good run of about 20 to 30 miles every now and then and it should clear.

You get this more with our cars as the dipstick pipe is external so takes a very long time to get hot enough to burn of the condensation

I have this a lot in the cold weather.

I was speaking with a Machanic about this recently and they said they have had a recall on the Audi R8s and now install a shief to help stop it.

I hope so. I've only used mine 4 times this year and it has only done around 3000 miles since I had the head gasket replaced. I had mayo on the dip stick when I checked the oil a couple of days ago.
