As you know i have just finished my Mems3 conversion

Engine runs like a dream,, however with Igniton off the Idlec ontrol valve after its normal few clicks sits there with a very slight whistling noise.
It is obviusoly still powered when igntion is off.

Anyone know if this is correct?

Yes mate i have, although not when warmed up.

It doesnt sound like the valve is moving when the igntion is off just the fact that its making a strange whistling noise.
I just though with ignition off the valve would be dead?

It's normal; I can confirm the noise is coming from the ICV even when the ignition is switched off. I first noticed when I had my 03 TF and now the same noise on my 05 TF.

Next time you have the engine cover off: switch the ignition on then switch off so you get the noise, then unplug the ICV and the noise stops.

Not sure how long it gets powered but it will shut off after a short while.
