Great drive today. Dumfries - Moffat - St Mary's Loch (stop at the Glen cafe for brekkie) - Megget Water - Talla Fruid - Devil's Beef Tub - Moffat - Dumfries. It rained a bit, but we also had some sunshine. Sadly we couldn't have the top down but both Mrs Dave and I enjoyed it immensely. That is why I bought this car! Got home, cup of tea, clean and polish for the car and then a nice sit down with Neil Young on TV, and a look at the MGF manual to see how to access the heater switch to get that done. After that I will explore the possibilities of a wind stop for the MGF.

Ain't it funny, how time slips away...?

Sounds like a fantastic run. I remember going to St. Mary's lock for summer camp with the boy scouts.

I skirted some of your route on Saturday driving back to the Midlands from Longannet Power Station. I cut across the A66 to see my bro in Cleveland. Would have been more fun in the TF rather than the company Smegane.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

It was actually a Monday drive but was great to get out. Gotta be a tourist more often.
