My car seems to have a lot of admirers.

It would seem my car has quite a few admirers.
I constantly get unsolicited positive comments from the public, but here's the strange thing, They are almost all from people who's ethnic origins are from the sub-continent. Doesn't seem to matter how old or what gender the admirer is.
In fact one bloke keeps coming around knocking on my door and very politely tries to buy my "Magnificent machine" (his words) :lol:
Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at these folks. It's just seems to attract them.
Maybe it's the colour? "Volcano"
Maybe that shade of orange is an auspicious colour in their culture? I dunno.
I just curios if anyone else has had this happen and if so what colour is their car?

Not many people from the sub continent around here, but I do get comments from people in the streets. Most don't have any idea that its an MG, as there is very few around. I have never seen one on the roads around here. The old MGB owners will want to chat and look. Mine is Red

I get the odd comment and if im out with the car, people look...
If engine is running ive had a couple of "thats not standard engine - whats it running?" to which i reply its the standard 1.8 just with custom back box

Also volcano but definitely not as admired as much as yours.

I generally get looks of disgust from honda civic and fiesta boy racers that think they can storm past me, with their "posse" in tow, One of these days I will let them catch up :whistle:
People do look at the car twice, but to be fair there is a few round here, but many are newer TF's.

I get a few admiring glances and some nice comments, no ones said anything bad about it at least not to my face.

The usual snotty "mid life crisis" crap from males who tend to drive repmobiles, and unqualified admiration from the ladies. Do I care either way? Not a jot.

I keep getting asked about the colour of mine (Alumina Green). In fact at the Arden MG club show night a woman said she voted for my car because she liked the colour!
