Lost my Mojo...

As I've mentioned in the 'Shoutbox' (which is more like a chat room - great addition IMO), I seem to have lost my MG Mojo a bit...
After driving the TF home from work the other day, sun out - roof down and sat in traffic, looking at all the alloy 'bling' we've added over the last 3 years i couldn't help but thinking we've spoiled it a bit and of turning it back to original. (John's gonna love this).
The LED's have gone, the MOMO gear knob is back on, the whip aerial is back and i'm thinking of attempting to spray the faded grey plastic heater knobs.
Is it possible to remove the glued in alloy clock rings without too much damage or am I really looking at a new center console and heater dials?

The alloy rings will come off easy enough dependent on what glue was used. I wedged a plastic object in the gap and they came off easy enough.
I know what you mean about going a bit OTT. I like the look of old cars with subtle upgrades. That's why I've gone for white LEDs its just an upgrade from the factory spec bulbs. If you are getting rid of any bling let me know. I'm after some brushed alloy clock / heater rings and a set of heater control knobs.

Cheers Ben,
I've gone back to bulbs from white LED's.
Those rings & heater knobs I glued in with super strength super duper glue that's deffo not gonna be easy to remove without damage.
They are exactly what i'm thinking of taking off...but won't be looking to get rid coz knowing me - i'll change my mind and want them back on next month!

Superglue.... Hmmm maybe a small screwdriver then to break the seal. I'm getting some brushed alloy stuff. Thats why i masticked / siliconed mine in. They came off easy and left no mess.

I used sticker remover made by HG and Surgical Spirit on a micro fibre cloth with a lot of rubbing it took the glue off and no damage other than the cloth
