Sheila and I will be travelling South to attend Larry's funeral.
We're staying in the Hilton Garden Inn, Luton on the 4th August, attending the funeral on 5th and then travelling onwards to Hove for a few days.
If anyone would like to join us for a quiet drink in Larry's honour, we'll be in the Hilton's bar at 20:00 on the 4th.

We'll most likely do the same at the Devil's Dyke Inn, Brighton on Tuesday 6th or Wednesday 7th.

Ok we'll be at the Hilton Garden bar on the 4th That's LU2 8DL at 20:00. This evening.
We'll be in the Devil's Dyke Inn on 6th at 20:00 That's BN1 8YJ.
We seem to have a lot of Sussex members so it would be nice to meet you all on Tuesday.

Unfortunately Sue and I couldn't make it. Her daughter moved house Monday and Tuesday and we both felt it our duty to help, as you would. I had to be the driver, and moving from one three story house to another, with the associated gubbins of two adults and five children took its toll on us both. Didn't get home till 8.30, and we were both sha**ed out. Glad you had a good time.

It was a glorious evening up on the dyke, and great crack(chat) as usual.
Thanks Red! Yeah, reports of a biblical flood through the ceiling were a touch exaggerated. :yesnod:
Everything is back to normal after the cistern ballcock stuck. :broon:

Like me your mishaps seem to be water related :(
The washing m/c has flooded the house twice; I filled our motor home when the overflow pipe came adrift; at the moment the water softener is filling up with water :(
