Hi all Well the day was nice so I thought I would have a look at my coil packs,plugs and leads as I am having a small problem with my TF as it misfires very slightly
It's ok at 1500 rpm in 5 th gear but will judder quite a bit if I don't accelerate when I am going up hill in 2nd gear at 1200rpm [ this is when I am leaving my home and just want to do 20mph ]
Well there was nothing wrong with the plugs etc so what to look for now? any ideas welcome
P S I also took off all the electrical connections and sprayed them with cleaner

we had the same sort of problem ,,turned out to be the cam position sensor,,got one off a freelander and hey presto all good

1500 in 5th? 1200 in 2nd? These seem very low revs.

Is the car happy at higher revs?

Yes it is, very happy 1200 was just a figure of the top of my head could be a bit more
