Just saved myself a small fortune!
From an idea I saw on MG F TF Central I've saved money on not buying Seat Belt Tidies! Instead I bought a leather belt from ASDA for £4 and did this...
Absolutely great idea. Just HAD to go out for a top-down drive to try them out
I believe thanks are due to FSU from .org
And because I bought an extra large I still have enough leather left for another pair at a later date

Top mod that I'm going to do it myself as fed up with bidding on eBay for the alloy ones as they always go for over £20 and I'm to tight to pay that :woo2:

Third one down on this link
Leather Belt Tidy
with photos.
Also did the EPAS reset job the other day, with thanks to David Aiketgate. I used the more technical method with the multi-meter. Relatively straight forward if you have hands that not only bend in all directions but also have eyes in your finger tips!! Thank you David my little F no longer tries to kill me, and pedestrians, by forcing me to drive on towards the path any more. :hgf:

Fantastic. Think it looks better than the alloy version and blends in great with the car interior.

There's one or two interesting money savers and inexpensive ideas in the 'bling mods' section of the how to guides. :yesnod:

I had the aluminium profile cut versions but no matter how tight you got the allen screw they used to twist on the headrest stem.
I also found this mod some time ago on TF Central and using one of the better halfs belts (good job so does not come on this site) did the mod and have to say its far better than the aluminium version.

Oh yeah, I did the windscreen washer change over to the Fiat/Citroen/Peugeot mist type. HUGE improvement, especially as my passenger one was only dribbling (NO, not my passenger was dribbling, my passenger side jet!! lol) And at £11.96 delivered for the pair and very good little mod. Took me a total of two minutes to complete both sides!
Thanks to Leigh for that one :broon:
Just waiting for one of the most expensive mods to be sorted out, a set of Mike Satur roll hoops at a decent price, as I've just missed out on a second set
