centre console
Hi all
My console has a brake in it just below the radio, there is a little bar that seperates the radio from the heater controls
my question is,is the wood part of the console or can I get a console and put the wood on to the new one
thanks

These come as standard grey with stick on wood (not so nice) or proper molded in wood effect, yours looks like a proper one. There is one currently on flebay fo £40 buy it now price in the same wood effect

Worst case if you can't find a replacement, you could epoxy a reinforcement piece on the back of the broken bar, fill the cracks and sand and paint the bar.

I would recommend epoxy glue on the back. Just add a few scratches deep in to the back as this helps the glue stick. Then build up the glue until it is secure. I doubt the crack will even show if you join it well.

Or thinking about it. .. How about removing the bar and replacing it with a piece of polished walnut? I always thought on Meg that the black bit looked a bit cheap and should have been walnut anyway!
