lost my internet explorer help

as above how do i get it back

Control panel -programs - turn windows features on/off.

Hi David don't have windows features as a program on my p/c

Download Teamviewer 8 and install it. Then you have the option to let someone remote connect and do it for you. If another trusted member that you know, or are happy to let do this, also gets the program and installs it, you can swap pass numbers via pm here initially.

If anybody just wants to try this for the experience, install it and I'll let you take control of my pc for a few minutes while I watch. PM me if you fancy doing that. Genuine noobs only. No joyriders puhlease. :pop:

Try this.

Left click Start, click on Computer\Local Disc C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore\

This is where it sit's on my PC.
Hope yours is the same.

I remote connected to H and it seemed like he had a lot of spyware. The ie10 page freezes every time it's opened. It is activated in the windows features list.

I ran malware anti-bytes and it removed 554 worms, spyware, Trojans and adware. I also updated windows. After a reboot, the problem remains unsolved. Any further ideas or suggestions are welcome folks.

H - after a quick read, AVG security addons can stop ie10 working, do you have avg on your machine?

several people have had this problem and uninstalled back down to ie9.
will keep thinking.

also try a full ie reset. with ie closed, visit 'internet options' from control panel.
click the advanced tab, then click both 'restore advanced settings' and 'reset' below it.
then restart ie10 and see..

Remove the current av. install Microsoft security essentials, let it remove what it can.
then run combofix to finish off http://www.combofix.org/ after combofix reboots do not do anything until it has finished and opened its log file as it will undo anything you do untill its finished

once done go to add/remove programs, display installed windows updates, find IE 10 and select reinstall.

Or bin IE 10 and put a decent browser on your puter like Firefox.
I've always said the less poorly developed MicroSatan rubbish software you use on your puter the better!
