parently there's an award for it in these parts?
who's into photography, what sort of stuff? landscapes, portraits, carrrs, effects?

i've been more into post processing of late; HDR, tilt shift, because i don't currently have an SLR.

i do have a Canon underwater camera which is great for creative photography, even if people look at you funny washing your camera in a stream..

Hi, I have a Sony A100 with a 70-300mm lens also a 20 -70 lens but I tend to use the 70-300 most of the time as I take pictures of birds, cars and landscapes + any thing else that may take my eye

I love photography and really concentrate on landscape, architecture and animals, but love photographing anything really.

I have had so much camera gear over the years, but currently use a Nikon D60 dslr with a 10-20mm wide zoom and a 18-200mm both Sigma lenses.
I also have a Canon compact with housing and a small digital video with housing both for U/W work while diving.

i always wanted a sub 20mm lens :yesnod:
my Canon is the D10, the underwater video is 720p so quite useable. it's taken some otherwise impossible memories while out on/in the water with friends.

I have always been interested in taking pictures. Originally with the "real film" types . Got my first digital in July 99 it was real high tech at .8 of a megapixel. No one else I knew had such a gadget and most were interested in it. Used numerous digital cameras over the years but usually stuck with the canon eos models. Recently got an Olympus pen which I rather like and use a lot now. I have always saved all my pictures and the directory is now 93gb

Here is one of my first digitals at a massive unreduced 282kb

I enjoy photography - mainly landscape/seascape, architecture & dogs plus the odd car shot. I really did start with a Box Brownie but now days use Ricoh - a GRD4 and a GXR. They are a bit 'cult' not unlike the MGF and while some dislike hardtops, I dislike zoom, lenses. Ialso like B&W -,how wired is that?

I acquired a Nikon coolpix earlier this year and spent a bit of time playing with the settings, I've only ever had point and shoot before which this does too but it has more...here is one of my first attempts.

I used to dabble in photography many years ago, developing and printing too.

No doubt a dying hobby due to digital. We have a 35mm Nikon gathering dust.

Currently we use a Lumix and a Minolta DSLR, which is a bit long in the tooth now.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Hey all, it's a pic I took today after my eye test. They squirt some stuff in that dilates the pupil, even in broad daylight. I like this self took pic but I'm not sure it's a winner up against all your expert pics.

The mrs reckons it makes you look like a vampire walking around in broad daylight.
