Looking for a new MG

Hi All

Baby Girl has given up the ghost after 18 months of hard work and a lot of fun she's being garaged until i decide what to do with her.

So this weekend with a lump of cash in my pocket and my o/h along for the ride i went MG hunting - i must have seen over 20 cars this weekend and i will say i have now seen it all - from mouldy roofs to bumpers hanging of - and i am not looking at old cars 02/03 plates and the way people have treated them is :bang: :bang: :bang: yet they still expect to get up to £2k for them :omg: .

Also if you ask to see the last MOT cert to see the advisories, cause as we all know it's not very often there aren't any... they come up with every excuse in the book. I only saw 1 clear one and that made me a bit worried.

So i am now saying - can someone anyone please help me - if you know of a decent car for sale please let me know - i am willing to travel.

I've taken some more photos this morning and blew the cobwebs off it, its been for a treat, a 40 mile road trip on the dual carriageway. I'll be sad to see it go but hey-ho this weekend has been a nightmare both twins have been ill, one so bad she spent two nights in the children's ward. The other was still ill but was at home, so I had the vectra at hospital with both car seats in it, the MG at home.

Then I had to ferry Maisie to my mums in the TF, she liked it, I was a bit hmm not sure about this...

What budget were you looking at spending? We might be able to do a deal without added 'tardis of parts'

But you will regret it, most of the parts are hard to come on, I do a fair bit of hunting around to get the bargains. (hence the Ben Sewell's bargain basement lol).

Good luck finding something if this is a bit out of your price range, in fact you could let us know so we can start looking for you.

Fantastic looking car Ben but i'm not really a green fan - sorry i know some people are i't's just me, i'm really looking for something a bit different this time and i haven't got a clue what.
