faulty wipers

When going to work today both wipers stopped to work - during heavy rain of course.
Both arms can be moved easily, so are disconnected from the linkage apparently.
Couldn't check it so far - but may it happen that both arms pop out at the same time or should I expect something worse?

Have to find an apple to find the way home tonight...

Usually, just the drivers side pops off to my knowledge Bertl. Here's my 2 fixes for that specific problem. Maybe your bar's come off further down nearer the motor?

could check - and temporarily repair - it this morning.

Both bars felt off the motor, the joint is totally worn.

Happened apparently not the first time, all joints have been drilled and 'repaired' with screws and wire in the past...

Could fix it with a flat headed screw through joint and motor arm, but it's definitely time for a replacement.
