It is with great sadness and deepest regret that I have to inform you that sadly, David's wife, Sheila lost her fight for life on Tuesday night. Sheila suffered a devastating stroke a few days before Christmas and sadly was unable to recover from this.

Sheila's funeral will be held at Carlisle Crematorium next Tuesday at 11am. The service will be a celebration of her life and the dress code is 'whatever you feel comfortable in' (David says anything goes...from Christmas jumpers to wetsuits!). Sheila lived life to the full and David wants her funeral to be a reflection and celebration of the life she loved.

Sheila came on as many of the Border Patrol runs as she was able. As she often worked on Saturdays, this cut her options a little, so when she was unable to attend herself, she would send one of her three beloved rottweilers in her place to keep an eye on David! She also joined us on two of the Border Patrol holidays (Aviemore and Italy) and our Christmas parties.

Donations in lieu of flowers will be gratefully accepted and passed to Rottweiler Rescue- if anyone wishes to donate, PM me.

Rest in Peace Sheila, we will miss you xxx

So sad to hear this news.

Judy and I were fortunate enough to get to meet and stay a couple nights with Sheila and David in 2012. What a great couple. So sad to learn of passing.
