Yesterdays Border Patrol run from Durham to Carlisle was a great success.
The weather was fantastic and we drove some roads that most of us had never driven before, but we will be driving again. The roads leading up to Allenheads were fantastic driving roads with some great scenery.
We stopped at Derwent reservoir for a little stroll and carried on to Hartside Top Café for a coffee and natter before driving on and ending up at Rahi at the Waterloo, near Carlisle, where we had a curry.
It was a great day and we didn't get home until 21:45.
Here are some photos from the day.
Thanks to all who attended. A run is only as good as the people on it.

Great looking shots Clive and what a day for the run.The stretch from the Hartside cafe down the hill is one of the best roads in the country to blast down in an F.
I wish I could have been there but I still have a couple of bits to sort on my car.
