Looks like I was not the only one who has had the following error message appear and an otherwise blank screen appear;
Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Could not connect to MySQL.
The advice, from Psymon was;
Hit Ctrl-F5 to force your browser to fully reload that page.
This fault is both random and intermittent but the back room boys are working on it.

Click or tap on the refresh screen icon in the address bar, in Safari at least. Basically you need to send a refresh screen message to the website however that can be achieved in your particular flavour of browser or device.

I have had to hit Ctrl-F5 quite a few times in the last 10 mins.
It is a known issue and a solution is being worked on. Just in case you get the error remember Ctrl-F5
