Could you pass the advanced driving test?

A 92-year-old man from Greater Manchester has become one of the oldest people in the country to pass an advanced driving test.

Des Conroy, from Oldham, decided to take a few lessons after he recovered from knee replacement surgery. And at the end of his lessons, Mr Conroy sailed through the Institute of Advanced Motorists' advanced driving test.

Des said;
"I never regard myself as safe, I don't regard any driver as safe, I regard every driver as a potential source of accident, myself included. I think that is the only safe way to drive."

I couldn't. The mouth breathing, anorak wearing, nasal-vocal tester would put me off too much. :whistle:

I think I would need to have a surgical operation to remove the lead from my right foot first. :slapme:

Have done, IAM PCV test a few years ago. Didn't even have to pay for it, did it through work. Didn't keep up the membership though, bragging rights only

I have one for the bike does that count?
