Hi all
I have a pin hole in my soft top, it doesn't let any water in but if I leave it it may get bigger so how would you repair it

sounds like super glue and as the hole is very small I think I may just use some super glue
now15 minutes later. yes super glue was a good'n A small patch of masking tape on the inside to stop glue falling through pushed roof fabric back though hole and applied some glue :broon:

Many just sew up small holes H. :yesnod:

I can't recommend this but there was nothing that made me laugh more than driving through the rain with the roof down. It's bonkers, but you have to smile at the reaction of other motorists.

Being easily pleased, I've already crossed that adventure off my bucket list.

I wouldn't use super glue, this dries hard and makes the material brittle, you need a rubber based glue as in a puncture repair kit

Regards

Chris

Supper glue?.......... must be some kind of food based adhesive :bust:

It was just a pin hole, 1/2 mm in size so as said a drop of super glue did the trick

super glue (cyanacrylate) usually drys only when blocked from air.
That's why fingers stick together perfectly but paper can't be glued...

So just dripping it on the fabric will not let it dry.
