Well thought I would start a topic on MGTF ownership.
The new winter project arrives on Friday and I'm busting to get into it. :bust:
5 Days and counting!!!!
Pictures will follow when she arrives, and hopefully I will have a name for it by then.
Paul.

Hi Talking Cars,
A little back ground.
The car is a 2003 MGTF Stepspeed in gunmetal grey. It is currently owned by a lady who always wanted a sports car, so her husband bought her the MGTF for a birthday present brand new. :omg:
About 4 years ago she started having problems with the engine using lots of water and having to top it up. Also about the same time she fell preganant with her first child.
When she took it for it's MOT, the tester told her it had failed for emissions and that as it was using water, it was probably the head gasket. She was quoted £600 to get it fixed.
Well as she really needed a family car in the forseeable future and being pregnant having other things to worry about, the car got parked up in her garage.
Now 3 years later her husband wants to convert the garage into a gym, and as her beloved MG only has 2 seats it has to go. This is where I step in! :woohoo:
I have been told it has about 50k on the clock and ran alright (With the exception of the coolant) prior to the MOT, but as you can imagine, after 3 years, I have no idea what awaits me? Fun isn't it!!!!
So I am like a school kid before xmas waiting for Friday when I can go get her and see what happens!
Still no idea for a name, but will shall think of something, the last project (A Austin Healey Sprite) was called money pit!! LOL
4 DAYS TO GO!!!!! :bust:

Hi Paul,
I have a TF Steppy; it's tucked away now for winter as I only tax it for 6 months out of the year. They are a cracking car to drive in both full auto or manual, you will have a lot of fun driving with the stepspeed box.
Brian.
