Best run around I've had.
We've had our '51 Citroen Xsara diesel saloon for 9 years.
It has never broken down & apart from the usual wear & tear items, has been cheap to run.
Pulls like a train, does 45+/gal, comfortable & the Missus likes driving it
I also have the 160 & a Merc. E320, so as long as it keeps going, will remain the best run around I've had :yesnod:

The Xsara has done 92k, the TF 160 119k & the Merc. E320 [petrol] has done 54k.
The missus will only drive the Xsara [she is 72 & I'm 77] & we use it as the daily driver.
I give the other 2 a run at least once a week to keep them ticking over & both are used for European hols.; the TF for the enjoyment & the Merc. for its' comfort & wine carrying capacity

I just meant the cars.
High mileage all round then.

Considering the ages of the cars, I wouldn't say they were high mileage :nonod:
The Xsara has done about 7k/year
TF 9k/year
Merc. 4,6 k/year
All have plenty of life left in them as they have had regular service & maintenance. Agreed they are all getting on a bit & not worth a lot, but they are a better alternative to me than buying newer models.
Better the devil you know, plus for me they are an ideal combination.

Agreed. It's a well mixed little fleet you have there.
