As per title what would you be up to ???

I would be fitting a nice little hoard of bits I've just finished

Just got a K&H splitter to paint now although I am a little worried about catching it on a speed bump and ripping it off has any one had any problems with them

But it's not raining here :-? but if it was I wouldn't be able to do anything cos it's raining.
wait a minute, it's started raining so I'll have to think of something I could be doing if it wasn't raining.
Washing the car, maybe.

If it wasnt raining here i would do exactly the same as saturday night and drive my mg around great countryside......also known has the peak district national park.....here are a few pics that dont do it justice unless your there you cant experience the winding roads, tranquil country, old pubs......mgs are great for sight seeing and taking pictures.....they are narrow enough to pass other traffic on narrow roads, tuck into gateways etc. www.visitpeakdistrict.com/about-the-area.

okeover hall

owning a mg has got me out and about a lot more, there a pleasure to drive and cheap to run...If my girlfriend even moans about it....she is a gonner.

www.peakdistrictinformation.com/visits/dovedale.

the above picture was taken in the manifold valley near wetton mill,The tunnel im driving through here was along time ago used for trains and not road traffic and picture of tunnel below i taken from a earlier visit. The manifold narrow gauge railway followed the river gorge for nearly 9 miles between hulme end and waterhouses.Opened in 1904 it served the tiny farming community and bought in tourists and carried milk and cheese from a isolated dairy at ecton......Famouly known has the line that started from nowhere...........closed in 1934,the old track removed and resurfaced. The manifold valley is overlooked by thors cave. www.peakdistrictinformation.com/visits/thorscave.

.

DEER :P ...photos taken with phone.....deer in centre of picture lying down is a large stag, you can make out the large antlers

2 pictures above are some captive deer which i viewed from the roadside..............another good thing about driving around the peak district is that there aint one of those giant letter Ms anywhere..........and that means no litter.

But its raining out there, and its been raining all day.So with the mg tucked away in the garage,i went out in my other car.......and this is the view from inside.(checkout the bad parking from the car infront)

Raining on and off in Pudsey too so, can't take the TF out to test the new Wind stop I bought from Newton Commercial . Easy job to fit it and looking forward to seeing how affective it is.

With your new wind-stop, if you go fast enough (over 30mph), the rain will go right over you like a smoke tunnel effect. It's very character building too. :yesnod:

Some lovely desktop views for my pc there David. Thanks. :broon:
