Replacing plastic rear window with glass.

Replacing plastic rear window with glass. was created by Forrester

I have a TF 160 with a glass heated rear window.
Trouble is that the hood is tatty & have seen some for sale, complete with all fittings, for reasonable money, but have plastic screens.
Presumably I can replace the plastic with the glass screen I have. Is it just a matter of unzipping & replacing?
Also will an F hood fit a TF?

I'm sure peter will be along soon with a definitive answer but yes, providing the Zips are the same.

We have a tf hood on our Mgf with no noticeable problems.

I think the only hoods that were different were the very early ones.

Peter will have the kit available with the correct rivets.

All MGF and TF hoods are interchangeable (although there are some differences in hood and frame),

A lot depends on your glass screen, was it a replacement for a previous plastic screen or a complete new hood?

My hood has a fixed glass screen with no zip, I think it's a BAS.
