Chrome fetish

Well went to castle chrome in dudley to see how much chrome plating would cost on my tf parts..............oooooooooohhhhhhh.......was not there long i priced some parts individually the tf bonnet catch i sripped and cleaned of paint myself....i was quoted £60.00 for................. and a bonnet stay was £30.00 chromed........but i said goodbye and left.....you can buy the bonnet catch chromed off ebay...and that will give you a spare catch assembly as you have your old one has a spare or to sell on....so if id paid the chrome platers £60..00 for the bonnet catch i would the have to collect or postage at extra cost ......no saving there.....so the prices these dealers are charging on ebay is fair......unless someone else knows a cheaper place.......fancied a chrome petrol cap though and had to have one today so forked out and got one from we love mgfs at pelsall..........got home and fitted it...pleased with the reults..
