4Life waterless coolant
Hi, does any of you use 4life waterless coolant, I am considering its use in my 2002 F, I have sorted out all my coolant woes and think that maybe it would be a good idea to try it out, main benefit being higher boiling point and less system pressure so giving older hoses an easier time, I have read some negative comments about it but mainly from, bar room preachers who have not used it but knows of a friend of a friend whos aunt had a bad time etc etc, also what prep needs to be made etc. So guys good or bad, your thoughts please.

Hi Steve , I've also been considering this and apart from the obvious cost of filling the system with it , after thoroughly flushing the system , I can see more pluses than minuses . I am sure more knowledgeable folk on the forum will come up with plausible negatives . I will follow this with interest. John

My experience is limited to driving one lorry that had Evens waterless coolant, there was no noticeable difference.
My reason for not using it is cost, as the cars become older there is more chance of hoses failing, even if not under pressure.

A well maintained TF cooling system is perfectly adequate, so do not really see the need!
A poorly maintained system might benefit from this, (running at a lower pressure!) but then cheaper to look after the cooling system, and if the worst does happen, not going to cost a small fortune to top up again!
