Had a trip out to market drayton yesterday and decided to buy a new phone for the mrs....nothing to exciting just a cheap push button easy to use one from argos..we had to wait a while has thier system wouldnt take my card......when it did i was asked if i wanted to buy a sim.....no i didnt has the discription read it came with one and £5 credit......i left the shop and went home.....i had checked the security seal inshop...but when i got home it was open....pressing it back down it did appear sealed again......i checked all contents were there and thought maybe they must of shown someone....has we nearly asked ourselves to view...........anyway the sim was not enclosed and we had to go back this morning.......the young lad was helpful....located the sim and after inserting the sim and making sure it was ok we left.........in a local pub...i credited the phone with a voucher and looked to see how easy it was to text so i could show the mrs.....whats this i thought....5 messages in the inbox......my eyes popped out has i read saucy bedroom banter between 2 people......off to argos again.....where the manager replied it must be your sim.....my sim i replied with a red face.....it was installed new by argos 1 hour ago........no real explanation how i was sold a second hand phone...ill investigate he said........what if my grandchild had recieved this....the desastrous possibilities were endless......mrs excepted another phone and a crappy voucher but its not right when this kind of thing happens......issit......i never looked to see if there were any photos on it...honest

i would of liked to of seen what trading standards thought about it?.......if i hadnt got a replacement i would of gone to the local rag and exposed there neglegence....i can understand this type of thing happening on ebay bought items...but not a shop that should take security measures and filed reciepts for returns etc......there return policy states they wouldnt except the phone back if it was used....but they clearly have done before....
